Based on the SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) recommendations for safe sleeping, Babynests are NOT intended for infant sleep! The safest place to sleep, for a child up to two years old, is in a crib/bassinet, laying on her back, without anything else around her (like toys, blankets, pillows etc). Make sure you place the nest on a firm and flat surface. Leaving it on soft and uneven surfaces (like mattresses or couches) can increase the suffocation and entrapment risk. Products with cords or strings pose a strangulation risk, so make sure you always keep those out of your child’s reach.
Babies should always be supervised while using the baby nest.
